‘It was a cricketing decision’

Shah rukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders has said that changing of the captain from Sourav Ganguly was purely a cricketing decision, taken for the betterment of the team. SRK said that the team management, which includes John Buchanan and Sourav Ganguly took the decision in the interest of the team. It must be recalled that the Buchanan had earlier proposed for a multiple captaincy theory, but had later retracted on it to name McCullum as the sole captain.
