Aussie players disappointed, but understanding

IPLpro Staff - 9 May 2009

The Australian cricketers who were pulled out of the Indian Premier League have expressed their disappointment at not having being allowed to play in the tournament due to slight injuries and niggles.

However, it is said that they will not fight this decision by Cricket Australia. The three cricketers who were disallowed by Cricket Australia were James Hopes, Nathan Bracken and Shane Watson.

Cricket Australia is said to be concerned about the workload of their cricketers before the all-important ICC World T20 and the Ashes later this year.
