Chennai Super Kings back to winning ways; rout Bangalore Royal Challengers

The Chennai Super Kings came back from their first match loss against the Mumbai Indians to beat Bangalore Royal Challengers in their second match of the tournament at Port Elizabeth.
 
Batting first after winning the toss, Chennai had Mathew Hayden and Parthiv Patel tearing into the opposition bowling with their dazzling stroke-play. Hayden got to his half century and that ensured that Chennai set a target of 180 to Bangalore for a win.
 
In reply, Bangalore needed a quick start to harbour hopes of getting their opponent’s total; instead they capitulated to 87 all out in 15.2 overs. M. Muralitharan was declared the Man-of-the-Match for his analysis of 3/11 in four overs.
 
With this win, the Super Kings have their first win in two matches, where as Bangalore also have two points from two.
