The fifth match of the Indian Premier League will see Bangalore take on Chennai at Port Elizabeth today.

Mumbai had beaten Chennai in the first match of the tournament, where as the Royal Challengers had surprised the Rajasthan Royals in their opening encounter.
 
Chennai was the runner-up last year and led by M.S. Dhoni. They will look to overturn the first match’s result by bringing in either Makhaya Ntini or Albie Morkel, in place of Thilan Thushara; both of whom couldn’t play in the first match because their kit hadn’t arrived with them.
 
On the other hand, the Kevin Pietersen led Bangalore Royal Challengers will look to repeat their last match’s performance. Anil Kumble had bagged a stunning analysis of 5/5 in the match and with the pitches seeming to be more bowling friendly in nature, they could do with getting in a few more sound batsmen into the line-up.
 
A win here will get them to four points in two matches.
