The Deccan Chargers made a mincemeat of the Rajasthan Royals at Kimberly by beating them by 53 runs. With this win, the Deccan Chargers are one of the top four teams in the points table right now.

Batting first, the Chargers piled on a total of 166/7 in their 20 overs. Dwayne Smith was the star of the show, hitting a 32-ball 47, where as Andrew Symonds did well to get to his 30.

In reply, the Rajasthan Royals were never in the game, as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Swapnil Asnodkar was the only batsman who managed to get some hold of the inning together with a 44 to his name, but the rest of the batsmen struggled to come to terms.
