The Deccan Chargers will face the Kings XI Punjab at Kimberly, and this will be immediately followed by Chennai Super Kings taking on the Rajasthan Royals in the second game of the day on the same ground.

The Super Kings are currently second on the points table with 11 points, where as the Royals too are on 11, but Kings have a better net run rate.

Punjab is languishing at the sixth place in the table with eight points where as the Chargers have ten points but have played a game lesser than Punjab.
