Chennai Super Kings coach, Stephen Fleming has said that Andrew Flintoff may not have performed well with the bat or the ball during the second edition of the IPL, but “was a "good influence" on the Chennai Super Kings”.

Flintoff had to leave the tournament after featuring in only three games due to a knee injury and will also miss the start of the West Indies series.

Fleming also said, “Flintoff is one of the great all-round players certainly I have seen.” He added that Flintoff did bowl well in the match against Delhi but it was an inning to remember by A.B. de Villiers that took it away from Chennai.
