Kolkata lose again; Taylor guides Bangalore to win

IPLpro Staff - 12 May 2009

The Kolkata Knight Riders lost another game that they should have probably won as they went down to the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Batting first, the KKR did well to pile up 173/4 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 84 by their skipper, Brendon McCullum.

However, this did not seem enough against the power-hitting of Ross Taylor, who scored a brilliant 33-ball 81 to lead his side to a seven-wicket win.

Taylor was also decalred the man-of-the-match.
