The Mumbai Indians will play the first match of Friday against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Buffalo Park in East London, where as in the second encounter, Bangalore take on Punjab at Kingsmead in Durban.
The Mumbai Indians are at the fourth position with five points, only a point behind the Kings XI Punjab who are at six.
The Kolkata Knight Riders have three points, where as Bangalore are at four.
With the competition so neck-in-neck, a win here for the underdogs – Kolkata and Bangalore – could set the cat amongst the pigeons, in the points table.
