A spirited performance by the Mumbai Indians saw them thrash the Knight Riders by a whopping margin of 92 runs.
Batting first, the Mumbai Indians scored 187/6 thanks to half centuries by Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya. This was the second highest total of this edition of the IPL.
In reply, the Knight Riders could not cope up with the mounting asking rate after having lost Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum early and crashed to 95 all out.
With this win, the Mumbai Indians have five points from four matches, while Knight Riders are on three from five.
