Lalit Modi has said that the tactic-breaks, which have come in for a lot of criticism from all and sundry are here to stay.

The breaks which take place after ten overs of every inning and last for seven and a half minutes had been criticized by many former and current cricketers.

This included Sachin Tendulkar, who is not known to speak out his mind under normal circumstances, and the tournament director Steve Elworthy as well.

However, as expected, Modi has quashed all rumors about any changes to the tactic-breaks for now.
