Watson, Hopes, Bracken to miss IPL

The trio of Shane Watson, Nathan Bracken and James Hopes have been diagnosed with minor niggles and so will not be representing their respective clubs in the second edition of the IPL.

Trefor James made an announcement to that effect, saying that the players’ will take time to get fully fit before the ICC World T20, and more importantly the Ashes.

Watson was to represent the Rajasthan Royals and was the best all-rounder in the first season, where as Hopes and Bracken were to play for Punjab and Bangalore respectively.
