After beating the Royal Challengers in their second match of the tournament, skipper M.S. Dhoni lauded the Super Kings’ batting performance but said although their bowling was good, it needed improvement.

He said, “I am happy with our batting. Bowling is also doing well but we can improve on that. Fielding also is something we have to improve.”
 
On the other hand, Bangalore skipper Kevin Pietersen couldn’t help but lavish praise on Matthew Hayden for 35-ball 65 that took the match away from Bangalore.
 
Even man-of-the-match M. Muralitharan accepted that while he was happy with his performance, it was Hayden who deserved the award as his 65 had set it up for them.
